Catching up...Part I...

It's been a loooong loooong time since I've blogged-over a year and I need to do just a quick bit of catching up. So here is Timmy in early October last year celebrating his Grandpa's birthday with a homemade cherry pie.  After dinner he ran around dancing and watching his grandpa play the accordian until his bedtime.  He will be having a little brother or sister in about 4 months!

Timmy is now up and about crawling everywhere so I have to watch him constantly. Here he has pulled himself up onto our baker's rack in the kitchen and has found cookie cutters! Later, I had to clear the whole area from his curious attempts at "tasting" everything. I'm slowly baby proofing the whole house as he gets into various items.

Timmy's First Ash Wednesday!

Timmy went to his first Ash Wednesday mass and got ashes on his forehead for the first time! Here he is with me after the evening mass. Picture taken curtesy of Aunt Hilary!

Starting on baby food!

So Timmy is now offically really getting into eating some real food which makes for a definate "messy diaper" with a big stink to it, but other than that, it's really going well. He seems to be questioning any new food, but seems to like them all and is not too picky. He has tried peaches, bananas, sweet potatoes, and squash so far. YUM!!! He is also into eating Little Graduates strawberry-banana cereal.

Timmy visits his Grandpa Tom and Robin! YEA!

For one week, Timmy and I hung out in Alabama to see his Grandpa Tom and Robin! He had a blast being fed fun new baby foods, playing with the two of them and all their cool toys, and just being spoiled. He also was able to see his Aunt Dana as well. The trip seemed almost too short and we were soon back in Nebraska. The weather was perfect for walks and he did good on the plane except for the very last flight where he got kinda tired of all the traveling. We had a fun time!

So T.K. has figured out how to crawl, though he gets tired easily. Here he is in progress. Hopefully I get a video clip on here soon. We'll see...

He's now in a highchair!

Well, now Mr. Bigstuff is sitting up enough to be at the big people's table and boy is he loving it! He likes to chew on his toys and even got to try pizza crust and an orange. He's acting like he's ready for food now so I'm introducing him to rice cereal first mixed with breast milk. He's a very happy baby.
